Clyde are the largest private equine veterinary practice in Scotland, and our team of highly-trained vets, all of whom either have or are taking postgraduate training, are here to help horse owners 24/7.
Since opening in 2005, our custom-built, fully-equipped equine hospital, located on the south side of Lanark, has treated more than 2500 referral cases.
We also offer an experienced ambulatory service, caring for all types of horses, ponies and donkeys in most of central Scotland.

Standing surgery
The hospital is specially designed so that we can conduct lameness examinations undercover or on flood-lit outdoor areas, and has an undercover trot up and a large soft area to observe horses being ridden.
​The site also has a convenient loading bay for assisting the loading or unloading of patients, a bone scanning suite, an operating theatre and induction room for general anaesthesia, a gantry-mounted x-ray machine and an in-house laboratory.
