Postgraduate Internships (24 months)
Rossdales Equine Hospital and Diagnostic Centre, Exning
Rossdales Equine Hospital’s 24-month post-graduate Internships appeal to junior veterinary surgeons with experience in equine practice as well as new graduates. Our team of six Interns are an invaluable part of our hospital and diagnostic centre team, working alongside Senior Clinicians and Recognised Specialists.

​Our extensive and diverse caseload provides a wealth of opportunity, ensuring Interns gain invaluable experience and knowledge throughout the programme. The dedicated rotations ensure that Interns have time to become highly competent in each area, under the supervision of our senior clinicians.
The Internship provides four six-month rotations: theatre and anaesthesia, diagnostic imaging (including CT, MRI and Scintigraphy), orthopaedics and during the final rotations as ‘senior’, and supporting incoming Interns to give them the best experience starting on their own Internship journeys.

With three Internships each year, commencing at the start of January, May and September respectively, these positions are usually advertised in February annually on our Job Opportunities pages and on our social media channels.
Externships
​
In addition to our internship programme, we offer a number of veterinary externship options for veterinary undergraduate students who have entered the clinical years of their training and wish to see practice.
